• Passed Matriculation exam from M.P .Board, Bhopal, India, in 1982. Secured 78% marks, First position in merit list of M.P. state in arts and social science faculty, received Gold medal.



• Graduated (Bachelor of Arts exam) from G.G.University, Bilaspur in 1985. Secured 67.5% marks with 3rd position in merit list of university, with major subjects as Political Science, Sociology, English Literature and General English.



• Post graduated (Master of Arts) from G.G.University, Bilaspur in Political Science in 1987. Secured 65.3% marks and 3rd Position in merit list of university.



• Passed Master of Philosophy (M.Phil). From G.G.University, Bilaspur M.P. In Political Science with specialization in Development Administration in 1988. Secured 72% marks (Highest). The Topic of the Research was “Implementation of Twenty Point Programmes in Tribal Areas of Madhya Pradesh: A case study of Kota Block.

• (2004) Prepared and presented a project for setting up of Women’s Studies and Development Centre worth Rs. 50 Lakhs, the project is sanctioned by University Grants Commission, Delhi .Presently working as the in charge Director of the Centre.



• (2004) Prepared and submitted a project for Infrastructure development for women teachers, students and non teaching staff, worth Rs. 10 Lakhs in October 2004. Project is sanctioned by University Grants Commission Delhi.

• (2006) Participated by invitation in a one day workshop (27th September) organized by State Health Resource Centre, Raipur, Chhattisgarh for reviewing the progress and to plan the launch of a course under the National Rural Health Mission. 11. Academic Recognitions



• (2008) Appreciations for our ongoing research on “Gender Evaluation of E-Gram Suraj Scheme of Chhattisgarh State of India and offers for collaboration, The research team includes one SC female, one SC male, Two ST female and one general male students of the department. Appreciations received from Ohio State university USA, from Angela M. Kugathas , Global Research Co-ordinator, APC, and Executive member of Global Funds for Women organization . Recently she visited the department to interact with the students for further research collaborations.
